We are now offering a satellite change request service that will allow you to submit the required information to us so that we can then contact HughesNet Installer Support and request a satellite change for your account on your behalf..
There is a $ 50.00 charge for this service which
now must be purchased via our new secure online store by following this
link before or after you submit the form below. Your "satellite
change request" will not be processed until payment has been received.
Why would you request a change ?
If you are unable to receive signal from the original satellite you commissioned to due to a variety of reasons... trees, new construction, additions, etc. If you have moved to another location that does not allow you to receive adequate signal over the satellite you were originally commissioned to. If you have upgraded or down-graded your dish size and cannot use the frequency that was originally assigned to you. Etc.
MOST REQUESTS ARE ONLY APPROVED FOR "LINE-OF-SITE" RELATED ISSUES! HUGHESNET WILL NOT ALLOW re-points just because you are experiencing slow speeds or other service related issues without a HughesNet Service Order in place.
How do you submit a change request ?
This form will allow you to submit the necessary information to us that is required by HughesNet for a satellite change request. You may need to contact a certified installer to get your system pointed at the satellite you wish to be re-commissioned to. He / She will need to ensure that the system has appropriate signal strength and crosspole values to connect to the satellite.
We will need ALL of the information requested on this form (unless otherwise noted) in order to request a change.
