LinkStar by SkyVista satellite Internet systems consist of your choice of a 1.0m,1.2m or 1.8m satellite dish mounted on a pole or "ground" mount, or on a non-penetrating roof mount.

A 3 watt transmitter / receiver unit is located on the satellite dish arm, and an indoor unit (modem) is placed somewhere inside.

LinkStar / ViaSat / SkyVista satellite systems require a dual run of RG6 SCC coaxial cable (one for transmit, one for receive) that connects the transmitter / receiver to the modem.  The modem then connects to a computer network hub or to a wired or wireless router via an Ethernet connection. As with any high speed Internet service, Internet speeds, bandwidths and capabilities depends upon the monthly service package you choose.

Note:  Mounts other than pole (ground) mounts are sold separately.  (Example: 1.2m Non-pen roof mount is $ 250.00)

1.0m Systems require either a 2 3/8" OD or 2 7/8" OD pole (ASK) / 1.2m Systems require 2 7/8" OD Pole / 1.8m systems require 4 1/2" OD Pole / 2.4m - ASK
