Like most satellite Internet service providers, SkyVista has recently discovered the need for a Fair Access Policy to ensure that users of it's bandwidth are not "abusing the system" by uploading or downloading continuously.  For example:

 

It's actually a pretty decent FAP policy. Even if you happen to violate the FAP, your service will simply be slowed down for the rest of that day, then every night at midnight you would be put back on the speed package their paying for. So, as long you don't abuse the system with excessive or continuous uploads / downloads, etc., there should be no problem.

* Modem Upload Threshold is the amount of data that may be uploaded during the previous 30 days before the FAP may restrict users speeds.

** Modem Download Threshold is the amount of data that may be downloaded during the previous 30 days before the FAP may restrict users speeds.
