Satellite Internet systems bring high speed Internet access to remote areas by sending and receiving Internet service via satellite. There is no need for a telephone line, other than for support, should you need it.
We offer WildBlue via DISH Network, which means one call for satellite television and satellite Internet support, and ONE BILL for your satellite television and satellite Internet Service... don't have DISH Network... no problem... they will bill you for your satellite Internet service whether you have DISH Network Satellite Television or not!
WildBlue satellite Internet systems consist of your choice of a 28" x 26" satellite dish mounted on a wall mount, pole or "ground" mount, or on a non-penetrating roof mount. A transmitter / receiver unit is located on the satellite dish arm, and an indoor unit (modem) is placed somewhere inside. WildBlue satellite systems require a dual run of RG6 SCC coaxial cable (one for transmit, one for receive) that connects the transmitter / receiver to the modem. The modem then connects to a computer network hub or to a wired or wireless router via an Ethernet connection. As with any high speed Internet service, Internet speeds, bandwidths and capabilities depends upon the monthly service package you choose.
